This competition winning project was developed for North Lincolnshire Council. The development comprises the centrepiece of the Waters Edge Country Park located at Barton on Humber to the south of the Humber Bridge on land previously used for industrial and rope works. The Centre provides an educational resource to demonstrate environmental sustainability and a number of small business starter units. At the time of its construction in 2004 the project scored the highest BREEAM rating nationally. The Waters Edge project was commended at the I Struct E Structural Awards 2006 in the David Alsop Sustainability Award category.
