The London Borough of Tower Hamlets procured this £14 m project by two stage Design and Build tender with novated professional team. Significant funding was obtained from the Sports Council Lottery Fund, the Football foundation and The Millennium Commission.
The project comprised a 25m trainer pool, learner pool with moveable floor, Sports Hall, Health & Fitness Club, and 10 all weather football pitches with separate changing facility.
