London Fields Lido

This £2.5m project comprised the complete refurbishment of an existing disused pre–war Lido for the London Borough of Hackney. The Lido had been closed for over 15 years and had recently been subject to fire damage, resulting in much of the existing structure being beyond economic repair.
The 50m pool tank was completely replaced, and a new changing block was constructed. The remaining original structures were repaired and refurbished. Provision has also been made for the future installation of an air supported canopy to facilitate year round use of the pool.
