This £12 milliion multi purpose Leisure Centre was constructed beside the river at Walton on Thames for Elmbridge Borough Council.  The centre included an 8 lane 25m competition pool complete with spectator seating and a learner pool with moveable floor. 

There was also a large sports hall, health club, climbing wall, cafe area and associated changing and staff facilities.

The site was an old refuse tip, requiring the building to be supported on piled foundation with underslab venting for landfill gases.
