This challenging project involved the construction of 3 acoustically isolated cinemas beneath one of the busiest train lines in the UK.
A waterproof lining system was first installed to the internal brick arches prior to an independent steel structure, which followed the contours of the brickwork. The steelwork was then clad with multiple layers of boards to achieve the required sound levels.
Throughout the whole project close liaison was required with a number of stakeholders, including Network Rail and Battersea Power Station. Efficient planning ensured swift on site project delivery within the confines of the largest construction site development in Europe at Battersea Power Station.
