The £12 million extension and remodelling of the existing lido included the construction of a new 25m competition pool with spectator seating, leisure pool, 2 storey health & fitness suite, main entrance, cafeteria and offices.

The original pool was converted to a learner pool with new moveable floor and new changing village.
